Use the page thumbnail view to visually confirm the page content before reordering — reading page numbers alone is not sufficient for long documents where many pages look similar.
Drag pages in small increments when reordering a long document — moving a page one position at a time is more accurate than large drags across many pages, reducing the risk of placement errors.
After reordering, scroll through all pages from beginning to end in the output PDF viewer before closing the tool — verifying the complete sequence is the best way to catch accidental page swaps.
Use Organize PDF after merging multiple PDFs to do a final page-order cleanup in one session, rather than re-merging with a different file order.
